For DEM Fire, like many other businesses, there was no escaping the impact of the pandemic this year. As an essential services provider, however, we also continued to service our customers during lockdowns with our solution design, system installation, asset management and fire compliance. We present some of our activities here in our 2021 annual wrap.
DEM Fire recently celebrated 2021 Family Business Day, something that is particularly close to us given our origins as a small family business. We’re now a leader in fire and essential services, thanks to a dedicated and like-minded team of fire safety professionals, who share our commitment to exceptional fire prevention services and outstanding customer solutions.
With a dedicated in-house team of fire safety experts, DEM Fire provides end-to-end fire prevention services without outsourcing to contractors – which is key to maintaining quality and efficient project delivery. We’re delighted to introduce you to just a few of our expert team members, who together ensure our customers have first-class, safe and compliant fire protection.
DEM Fire is Australia’s leading independent provider of fire and essential services, thanks largely to our dedicated and skilled team of fire safety experts. We have decades of experience and we stand apart from many fire protection companies with an in-house team of accredited fire practitioners, tradesmen and support staff. Here’s how that helps us provide expert fire protection.
DEM Fire is delighted to report that we have recently been recognised as a 2020 FBA Hall of Fame inductee. Family Business Australia (FBA) is an organisation that supports family businesses across the country, and their Hall of Fame initiative recognises family businesses that are making an impact. We’re a proud family business that values exceptional quality and service.
DEM Fire has delivered first-class fire protection for decades, and recently we’ve focused on solidifying our capability across fire prevention design and installation. Early in 2020, we reported that we had appointed James Kingi as Project and Design Leader to oversee and improve operations. We’re pleased to advise that we’re now building on that capability with the appointment of several new team members.
With our origins as a family business, DEM Fire has consistently tried to uphold the values we began with – of honesty, transparency and quality in every fire prevention solution. Recently we’ve looked at ways to further reinforce our values and ensure they are integral to every team member and everything we do across our fire protection solutions. Here’s who we partnered with, and what it means for our customers.
On 18 September, DEM Fire celebrated National Family Business Day, an initiative of Family Business Australia (FBA). It’s a nod to the contribution that all family businesses make to the Australian economy, community and culture. DEM Fire is very proud to be a family business, and we are delighted that our team has grown to include several other families.
DEM Fire has its origins as a family business, and we hold true to the values we began with. It’s just one reason why we really value our team. We’ve built a great company full of incredible people, and we’re particularly proud that so many people join us – and decide to stay. We’re delighted to welcome the two newest members of our ‘Ten Year Club’ – Gloria Morson and Owen Nicholls.
DEM Fire is a leader in fire and essential services. We take a holistic approach to fire and essential services by providing solution design, system installation, asset management and fire compliance services. And we always strive for superior results. So, we are especially proud to have once more been recognised at the 2019 Fire Protection Industry Awards.
