Coordinated Service Provision
Service Delivery
DEM utilises a co-ordinated approach to the delivery of fire
and essential service maintenance and testing. Our capable technicians
are multi-skilled, being able to complete several fire and essential
procedures whilst making one visit to the premises. This minimises
disruption to the building’s normal operation and reduces required
access time to difficult areas of the building such as individual
units. Our technicians are attaining accreditation from the Fire
Protection Association of Australia for fire essential services
tasks.
Communication
Communication between our company and the building’s representatives
is another key elements to the successful delivery of the required
works and contracted services. DEM as a medium sized business
provides easy personal access to our company’s representatives
to ensure that all issues relating to the essential services
can be discussed and responded to in a timely manner.
Our Quality Partners
DEM subscribes
to Standards Australia and is regularly monitoring
updates to the Building Code Australia (BCA) and Australian
Standards, and correspondingly updating our systems and procedures.
In-house training sessions are conducted to ensure staff members
are constantly improving their industry and standards knowledge.
DEM is an active member of the FPA
Australia (Fire Protection
Association Australia) holding a corporate silver membership.
Directors, Ian White and Tom Marshall are current committee
members. FPAA Members include every aspect of fire protection
– fire-fighters, building owners and insurers, building
designers and surveyors, building legislators and fire
educators – anyone working as part of the fire safety community
to provide a safer environment for all Australians. FPA
Australia provides a central source of information and
services to promote the protection of life, assets and
the environment. FPA Australia is Australia’s major technical
and educational fire safety organisation aiming to achieve
continual improvement in fire safety through active membership
and a range of activities.
DEM uses
‘The Service Manager’ package developed by TSM to
manage the scheduling and data collection of service and maintenance
work. The system effectively schedules and tracks all service
attendance and provides quickly accessible reporting on the status
of future, current and historic works. This system enables us
to create a detailed management / maintenance plan so we can
ensure regular preventative maintenance activities and that fire
service testing regimens are in place for your premises. A comprehensive
demonstration of these powerful scheduling and reporting abilities
is available upon request. Remote access to the system can be
provided.
The
quality of service delivery is routinely monitored through
a detailed internal Quality Assurance programme.
Our staff work under the guidelines of our Safety
Management Plan.
Insurance: DEM carries all required licences and insurances
with relation to servicing and maintaining your Fire and Essential
services. Insurance is a critical issue in the current climate
and adequate protection is critical for business, individuals
and clients alike. Copies of original certificates of currency
are available upon request
